I end up using Slic3r-pe 99% of the time, it has a nice balance of features without being as overwhelming as cura.
That's due to your old version of Cura. You have to move to the latest one. I had the same problem but now its fixed by just moving to the latest vers...
In term of slicing quality Cura has a slight edge but PS is miles ahead of it in most respects. Fantastic and powerful modifier system; clear, respons...
I adore cura But any slicer you use will only be as good as the settings you use in it.
