I've been using an outdated version of Cura for a while and it's been mostly working fine but I'm looking to upgrade. Ideally looking for a slocer that's free to use.

I've found Simplify3D to be the best software out there. It's expensive

Cura is free, has some great experimental features, and did I mention it's free?

Latest stable version of Cura? Or if you want to try something completely new, Slic3r?

I end up using Slic3r-pe 99% of the time, it has a nice balance of features without being as overwhelming as cura.
