What are the alternative reverse engineering software that can be used instead of geomagic design x?
Any experience, which software is more better for reverse design?
I use geomagic design X. But i really want to know better software.
Alternative software for Geomagic Design X can be Rhino 3d.
Siemens NX also has great tool set to reverse engineering design the any of complex shape or organic shapes. Their have "Reverse Engineering" & "Polygon Modeling" tool set, which competitive with Geomagic Design X capabilities

Why not PTC Creo, surper surface modeling software. May not user friendly as you expect but once you master the Creo. You will never leave.
You should try PolyWorks Modeler, which is more like Geomagic Design X and allow extract optimal CAD entities from 3d scan mesh.
