Hi,
I'm new to NX software, And with learning things I have made some changes in preference, colors,... And I'm bit messed-up the interface now. Therefore I want to go back to initial state or default state of the NX. How do I reset the NX software and go back to initial default settings?
Close any opened NX session,
Go to Users -> Login User Name Folder -> AppData -> Local -> Siemens -> NX_xxx (Installation Version Number)
And rename this NX(Version Number) folder to something else.
Now you are good to go, the new NX opening will give you reset/default state start. In any case if you want to load previous setting. You must need to save the Role before this renaming the folder.
User Interface Preferences -> Roles -> Save the current setting as New Role
