Yeah Pavlovich is very much focused on the software itself, which can be a good thing for people that already have design fundamentals

I simply tilt my head up down left and right. I build the system for $15
Go with infrared head tracking system i my self use it to control and setting up the camera
There's a voxel based retopology tool. You should check it maybe that will help.
