Advice please, can you create two-dimensional plot from data at gauss points for every finite element? Can it be done without using average or extrapolated alues for corresponding nodes?

To calculate the stresses in the node is possible in the FEM and Gauss is numerical assimilation and can’t be retort. In BEM can lead this by using internal points.

You have to try using the partial derivative operator on your computer and with respect to x multiply this by mu and you would get a component of your shear stress.
