I have a 3D packaging project with a company that uses flexography technology to print and later on an automated packaging process is done at the far end of the mill. Which CAD software do you think will be best suited for such a project?

Am not sure about 3D, i have used some 2D packing applications, but they were all not so impressive. There is still need for some software development i that area. You will end up coding the system to make it do exactly what you want. It is not easy to get a ready made solution for this.
