I wonder why part of my ribbon disappears everytime i use grips picking objects. The right side usually disappear then re-appear moments later with multiple objects.

Which AutoCAD are you using? And yes, when you select multiple but different objects the ribbon disappears. This is default reaction by earlier versions of AutoCAD, upgrade your version to get fix.
