Corsair CX450 is only 450W so it can not handle your GPU or processor. go with Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply. Its 750W and deliver the best flow of power

you should be getting an amd cpu since you will be doing cad.

I was thinking about it but i heared that Ryzen can be a little harder to troubleshoot compare to the Intel processor. . However, the power and price makes the 3900x seem like a better option.

No it won't. I am using Ryzen 5 and its work perfectly, i still recommend you to go with Ryzen processor with 750W PSU. Now its up to you
if you are doing CAD, you probably want 1 higher resolution monitor 4k or 5k and then 1 gaming monitor.

Of course i am choosing Asus VG278QR 27.0" 1920x1080 165 Hz Monitor, isn't its great for CAD ?
