I’m coming from Sketchup, in advanced level already. For CAD , my skill is average. How difficult would it be if I transition to Rhino?

It is no problem to learn rhino. You just need to catch good basics.

After you launch blend command look at the top white prompt bar. There in the bruckets should be chain edges, select it before you start selecting edges.

Propably you don’t have option trim activated at the top bar in the brakets.
