Edit STIL file using any CAD Program

Is there any CAD program which can help to edit STL models or converter it into an editable solid.?

You can edit with the help of Solidworks. it become solid and then you can add subtract new features. I am sorry i don't have any experience with program

i had tried this its work perfectly but unfortunately its not possible to sketch on a plane of the imported meshed part.

You're utilizing it in a wrong way. If your model is broken then use Solidworks import diagnostics or any program which help to fix the mesh

Actually my model has thousand of triangles so i don't think it can be fix with the help of solidworks or any program

In that case use Blender (or any other program) to reduce the triangle count to below 10.000 and then try again.

Since the file is native so i don't think it can be edited with any CAD program . You can make modifications to them, like subtracting or adding.

No. You're wrong it's editable. You can import them into almost any 3d editor (Blender, Sketchup) and modify them to your hearts content.

Sketchup is your best bet for a free software. Additionally you are going to need the "Export STL" plugin and the "SolidInspector" plugin.
